The Framework Laptop - Modular built to last

I've been really curious about these https://frame.work/laptop-diy-edition and they are now being shipped. Has anyone looked at them? They ship pre-built with Windows, or in the do-it-yourself version with no OS. Buying new hardware is often a crap shoot when it comes to running linux (Puppy for me) because of certain driver issues. For instance I use a dongle USB wireless interface because Puppy does not see the built in wireless card on my laptop. These Framework laptops offer the ability to customize the hardware.
I'd love to hear thoughts.
