So, basically this happened right after Conky appears, or when is being loaded at first boot and you close the welcome dialogs. Changes on xorg drivers might not seem to work, the only workaround I've tried successfully was playing with wallpaper settings after manually set Conky from autostart on/off and press the restart button while Conky still not being started and dialogs were closed. The same behavior is observed in others machines.

The first problem came from bad config ie original puppy wallpaper desktop is in Stretch mode then Conky starts and wallpaper goes to Fit. I've found that can be changed back to Stretch later. Second issue I've found is when you set up your language at first and decided to restart X later, I do so but when I restart manually X from Exit>Restart graphical server I see a big different puppy
