QuollWriter- pet request

Hi fellow Puppians,
a new writing tool has appeared that may be of some interest as it is declared open source (on github):
https://quollwriter.com/index.html. Officially currently supporting only its Windows version, a beta deb is available here:
https://quollwriter.com/v3beta.html#.

The main caveat seems to be that it requires JRE (boo, hiss?). I could well imagine it would work just as well with an OpenJDK variant, though I haven't tested.
I have the QuollWriter beta running well on a Fossapup64 9.5 frugal install, java sfs from Quickpet pre-loaded. I am writing to bring this application to the attention of Puppy users, as it provides an outlining facility not otherwise available in the standard Puppy document options - NoteCase excepted.
Would someone like to package a pet please? I have started putting something together by repackaging the deb as a pet, but the inclusion of a /user/share/applications/quollwriter.desktop file for Puppy menu integration is a little beyond me at present. Thanks for your attention :)

The .DEB does contain its own JRE java runtime environment for 64bit
I packaged as .PET but using all lower case letters for the package name.
It does seem to start and run in Fossa and Xenial64
Menu entry in the Document section
It is an experimental beta so grab it while you can, I will probably take it down after a while

Thanks so much @OscarTalks! I will check out your *.pet structure for educational purposes - see if I can replicate it for other debs I might come across in future, needing a little finesse in Puppy/menu arrangement. Thanks too for spotting the in-built JRE -I didn't clock that at all. Cheers for everything, much appreciated!
