http://hg.shinobar.server-on.net/puppy/opt/ is an extensive collection developed over the years having applications for Puppies as early as 4.31 (maybe earlier) thru Bionicpup64. Much of it is "no-arch" or only restricted by the 32/64 divide.
IMHO Highlights include: ffmpeg and ffconvert, grub4dos, remasterx, virtualbox, wine-portable thru 1.7. My opinion is based on what I've needed. When you get a chance, scan this Repo and add to these or, better yet, post about the specific applications located in Shinobar's repo.
