32-bit Bug found in Firefox

Post by 8Geee »

A few days ago from this post, FF 78.10esr and the 78.10.1 update(for Windows) was published. This was off the timeline. It appears that in FireFox78.9esr and PRIOR there is a security bug in the 32-bit versions ONLY.

A port with a number > 65535 and then correction or open a port within the specs causes a leak of local-hosts available and the process lists. This is BAD, and rated a "high" risk. If currently able to use 32-bit FF with the newest versions, I strongly urge this update. Its a BACKDOOR into the computer itself.

Money talks... no, it shouts, so that it doesn't have to hear common sense.
