"To install Puppy all you need to do is to reboot or power off, from the menu.
Puppy will ask if you want to create a save file.
Tell it yes, create a save file. Answer all the questions."
I've done that 3 times, and it seems to "save" on the thumb drive and the SD chip I have mounted, but not on the hard drive. When I boot from the CD, it doesn't read them.
Also, in the past, when I boot from a CD, it shows up on the bottom of the screen, or in the Rox filer. I tried putting the CD in my laptop running Tahr and it said either it was blank or that something was wrong with it.
"You can mount file systems if you want to, like a hard drive or usb flash drive or cd or dvd drive.
You can click a drive icon on the bottom of the desktop.
Or you can click the Mount icon.
You do not need to mount any drives to install Puppy."
The only icons I see , or Mounts, are the thumb drive and the SD card.
When I try to run FrugalPup, it asks if I want to install it on the Thumb drive, the SD chip or "loop 2" or "loop 3". I don't know from "loops".
