Waterfox browser
I've been using waterfox daily for quite some time. The performance
and speed are very impressive.
The browser is 64 bits. It's available in two flavors ... the "current"
(which I use) and the "classic" ... as explained at the above url.
The "firefox-like" setup has the familiar privacy settings that can be
set to empty cache and history when the browser closes. This feature
serves to diminish the gradual growth in size of your Save folder/file.
The developer (Alex) wisely chose to not follow firefox down the
rabbit hole of requiring pulseaudio. Firefox using apulse sometimes
does not sync sound with picture on certain videos.

Re: Waterfox browser
Good tip! I am now running Waterfox on a Bionic64-CE system. So far good performance
Re: Waterfox browser
I was using waterfox current, and an update turned into a mess since
the update installed G3.0.1 which doesn't work properly (on a couple
of pups and fatdog). I now use the classic version which works well
on fossa64 and bio64 (latest versions) but not on fatdog 811.

Yep. Two or three months ago I started using Waterfox. I chose Classic version from the beginning. No problem so far.

Re: Waterfox browser
Hi!
In case you are interested, I share the most recent version of Waterfox (it is not the G3)
and taking advantage of it I share my small folder where I have stored some pets that I made and other adjustments so that they work in more versions of puppy64, originally it was made for fossapup64 but it also works in puppexfossa64, groovypup64 from pfeco, bionic8-64 and only needs to be tested in other versions of puppy 64, although I consider that there should be no problems for the puppy that uses base (fossapup64)
FossaPup64 Repo
I hope you like it and it is very useful
@rockedge @01101001b
I mention if you are interested in visiting my repo and if you like to give my pets a review to see if they are in correct functionality on some dependencies or that I have unnecessary files for a "final" version ...
In what you can help me I will be very grateful
Thank you!
Cheers!!

Re: Waterfox browser
Hi you guys !
Good find ....art !
Since Firefox 83 gave me Trouble loading a few websites i am regularly visiting ...(it hangs and i have to "kill" it.....so makes it unusable for me) ...
I completely made a switch to Waterfox (G3.0.1 64bit -Aurora Channel) ......
Do not need apulse.....Sound on Youtube working fine.
Seems my woes are gone.....
Use it as my daily Driver now.
In case of any frustrating Experience in Future... i will report back.
Will soon give some Advice how to make Waterfox a "Portable" Version by simply using a small Script .
Regards !

Waterfox browser - about System1's acquisition
See my post here, viewtopic.php?p=13806#p13806 regarding experiencing Waterfox's behavior after System1's acquisition. It's not negative. But this is not the web-browser I use when I do banking or make online purchases.
