download iso lmde installed unetbootin and formated a usb to ext4. when i try to install the iso to usb get the error not mounted how to i fix . just want to install the iso to usb so can then install to another usb/tks
Are you willing "to try" a far more easier process that works for modern PUPs than your unetbootn process?

Here's a dedicated thread. Kinda wordsy.
But, in summary:
1. Make the USB. This is only done once in the life of the USB stick.
2. Add FossaPUP64 to the /BOOTISOS folder. And any other modern PUPs/DOGs from WoofCE
3. Done! Boot the USB in whatever PC you want. ... NO INSTALLATIONS, and you get EVERYTHING you expect from PUPs including save-sessions.
