How to set up Zarfy max resolution

Hello!
I have a problem with Zarfy. The maximum screen resolution is 32767x32767 and therefore the program displays the screen borders in a very small size. In my case the default resolution is 1024x600 and the external monitor resolution is 1920x1080.(Samsung N145P netbook: 2*1.6 GHz CPU, Intel GMA 3150 (max 384 MB shared memory) 2 GB DDR2 RAM, SSD, Distro:Official Bionic 32 bit) Where could themaximum resolution be rewritten?

Hi @Nokedli
did you find a solution to this problem?
I made a small program that modifies the screen resolution and saves said modification
This is my post viewtopic.php?p=20420#p20420
I have not tried it with external screens, but I think I have an alternative solution in this case
Comment if you are interested
Cheers!!

Hello @PipzDex!
Thank you for the recommended program , I tried it and it did not help the situation.
I have been able to set the individual resolution of the monitors easily.
The problem is that in Zarfy it is difficult to adjust the position of the monitors relative to each other.
I show the output of the xrandr command:
# xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 1024 x 600, maximum 32767 x 32767
LVDS1 connected primary 1024x600+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 220mm x 120mm
1024x600 59.98*+
1024x576 59.90 59.82
960x540 59.63 59.82
800x600 60.32 56.25
864x486 59.92 59.57
640x480 59.94
720x405 59.51 58.99
640x360 59.84 59.32
512x300 60.00
VGA1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
VIRTUAL1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
#
The maximum resolution here (32767x32767) should be set lower to make it easier to adjust the position of the monitors in the adjustment view.
On other computers, the same maximum is 8000x8000, which makes the monitor frames large enough for adjustment.
Cheers!!

In Fatdog we use Zarfy patched by James(bond), that has a new parameter for scaling:
"add -m option to control map scaling. By default, map is now scaled by 0.1. You can change the scaling factor with this parameter. If you specify -m without parameter, zarfy will scale automatically (the original behaviour before this change)"
[https://chiselapp.com/user/jamesbond/re ... 9034b53f76]
But you'd need to rebuild it from sources in Bionic.
An already patched source is here: http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/source ... 27.tar.bz2
Greetings!

Hi @Nokedli
It is a pity that it did not work as I thought, although I will tell you that I did not test in double monitor I think in some instance you could use the script created just adding the correct information but hey I think that would take a little more work and maybe be with trial and error until it works correctly ...
I believe and consider it necessary to further expand my program to the degree of being able to apply parameters in a similar way such as zarfy or lxrandr ... I hope to be able to take it to this degree
However, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to test my program and thus know the scope it has.
Greetings and thank you very much
