I had lots of problems connecting to bluetooth since bluez5 became mainstream. However, having compiled the recent 5.56 on fd811, which benefits from a new or improved service "AdvertisementMonitor path registered" everything now works as expected, and reliably.

here is a link to the sfs

I'm looking to install on xenialpup64-7.5

Is there a repository for this .sfs file or must I compile it myself?

The Australian State Governments have all enacted laws to steal your assets on your death. All legal paperwork is binned and all assets seized on one disgruntled child's complaint.Move them well before you die or go into a home.

You must compile it yourself , as far as i know. It's easy, but remember to add option in

Code: Select all

./configure --prefix=/tmp/bluez-5.58/usr --disable-systemd

... unless you have systemd on your system.

latest is 5.58
