How to find the packages needed for minimal modular puppy?

Post by wanderer »

hi all

i have figured out a way to use woof-ce and some manual manipulation to make a minimal modular puppy

see the minimal modular puppy (from fossapup64) thread for specifics

this system will work for any woof-ce puppy

it is a subproject of woof-ce and hopefully will be incorporated into the master branch eventually

this would make building puppies fast and easy and accessible to the entire community whatever your skill level

my system works fine and i am using it now

but it requires me to know what is in each package so i know what is needed for each build

i am learning that now but any help would make my life a lot easier

the next step is the base x main.sfs file. Those are the only the packages needed to have x jwm and rxvt
all of which are already included in the cut down main.sfs file

any advice on the packages i would need for a base x main.sfs file would be greatly appreciated
