How to integrate Hyper-V with Server 2012?

Post by jonnymcfly »

I found a workup online for it here - https://billysoftacademy.com/how-to-ins ... l-machine/#

Which is a pretty standard setup. But the integration is not there  so no mouse or network. I'm wondering how he got it to work as its not spelled out. I'm trying to use Hyper on server 2012.

What about other Puppy Distros that work with Hyper-v? I mean I'd rather use Bionic but I've used other Puppy Distros in the past. Lucid, Slacko, Rescue, lupu, Tahr. Puppy really is my favorite because its one of the first I've ever used after Damn Small Linux on an OG XBOX at that.

According to Microsoft they support debian and ubuntu release .

There has to be a way but I'm a pretty novice linux guy :ugeek: I've can use the terminal and navigate around. copy some files. Real basic. So I just haven't figured it out yet.

Also is there a way to select a package from the package manager in the guy without a mouse. I've tried enter and space and alt keys. I just cant seem to be able to get the do it button to work ?

Thank you for the help.

The TAB key should let you navigate the GUI, and SHIFT TAB will go in the reverse direction. I know nothing about Hyper-V though.

Return to “Bionic”
