Old Mozilla Addons

The following relates to the Web-browsers built by Mozilla, firefox, firefox-esr, and seamonkey, and to palemoon which is a fork from firefox.

Last year Mozilla changed the structure thru which addons were used and closed its repositories of addons not conforming to its new requirements. As a result, all versions of the many addons developed over the years were rendered unusable. As yet, usable alternatives have not been published in every category.

ca-archive-2.0.2.xpi was developed to fill that void. Once it is installed, it not only enables the use of the old addons, it provides access to a repository of them. Available from here, https://github.com/JustOff/ca-archive/releases. Sorry I don't recall who brought it to our attention.

Figuring out which version of an addon works with your setup is, unfortunately, 'hit or miss'.
