Thanks but I remember reading on the forum another way of doing this using YASSM. I remember rcrsn51 had a way to have shares load automatically. I can't seem to find the article he posted a while back.
The very old (2-series?) versions of YASSM had an auto-mount tool. But it was fragile and I eventually removed it. I looked through my archives and could not find a copy.
[Edit] I threw together the following script - it is untested.
1. Extract the package and copy the script into your /root/Startup folder.
2. Check out Line 8. The sleep command must be long enough to ensure that your network connection has been made.
3. Reboot.
[Update] No reply from rmcellig1 after three days. Package removed.
So sorry for the long delay!! Can you repost that script and if possible using yassm to automout shares on reboot. Thanks and sorry again for the delay in responding!!!
I think your yassm post had something to do with adding links of the samba shares to a folder in my root directory. Something along those lines. I with I could find your yassm post so I can remember the procedure. I have a feeling it was in the old puppy forum. Is that still available?
Solved. I used my fstab file. Everything is fine now.
