My browser is fine, my wget is fine - but they do not load puppylinux.info
I am in Togo at the moment, this seems to be the reason.
@mikewalsh
Because I get the same (meaning nothing) when I try with wget
wget gives me ...
Code: Select all
--2021-01-30 22:11:40-- http://puppylinux.info/
Resolving puppylinux.info... 192.185.16.139
Connecting to puppylinux.info|192.185.16.139|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 500 Internal Server Error
2021-01-30 22:11:41 ERROR 500: Internal Server Error.
And I get the same from the Android phone - a white sheet.
Geoblocking?

I put the link "http://puppylinux.info/" into my browser and I get:
Code: Select all
This page isn’t working
puppylinux.info is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
So maybe the error has nothing to do with your system.

Just forget about this site.
It seems to be dead and no longer a working site.

The forum part seems to be on the Wayback machine if you were looking for something in particular.

The domain registration with Netfirms has expired.
Anyone interested should get it.
Sorry about that loss, just one of many these hard times...

@raffy
Hi raffy, good to know that you are still around. The coronavirus hasn't got you!

Looks like puppylinux.info has been taken and is not showing PuppyLinux content, which is good. I say this because puppylinuxnews.org has been taken, too, but its owner (that appears to be a domain auctions site) shows old content of the site (and this is unfair to the true owners of the said content).
I have acted on this and sent email to distrowatch to remove puppylinuxnews.org from the Puppy Linux page.

Thanks for the note, Barry. (One year is over and we're still here!)
Hope to rejoin the fun (forum) in the coming days...
