[Bionic64 frugal] MuseScore AppImage crashing

Hello. I have got an AppImage, namely MuseScore 2.3.
I enabled all the permissions to execute it.
When I click on the icon, it opens, but it crashes after trying to open a file or after going to menu.
Whenever I go to terminal writing
cd Desktop
sudo MuseScore-2*.AppImage
it seems that the file does not exists:
MuseScore-2.3.2-x86_64.AppImage: command not found
(Notice that the file exists, and the name is automatically completed if I write it with *)

Do you have a link to it?
Where did you download?

place your appimage in the root directory. Since you have given permissions to it, click on the file icon, and you will see the app image name displayed. Click on it and it should run as advertised.

Do not try to use terminal commands to run this.
Simply navigate to the appimage file and left click on it to run.
If you right click on it and choose run in terminal.
It is looking to connect to PulseAudio
Puppy does not use PulseAudio.
So not sure if you need audio to use this.
It also needs some QT 5 stuff that Bionicpup64 does not have.
Here is a pet package for a slightly older version:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... x86_64.pet
Try it.

The pet you have given to me has got the same issue of the previous I was using: it crashes continuously. The error i see in console is "Segmentation fault"

MuseScroe 2.1.0 downloaded via Package Manger seems to work.
At least I have a 2.1.0 made into a .sfs file that works on my Bionic64 built.

@newton1372
you are looking for a running MuseScroe 2.1.0 for BIonic64? If you need help I can perhaps help and construct a PET or SFS (as @taersh has) for you if you are have difficulty in getting it running, It would be easy for you to install.

Hmm maybe a 2.3 would be better, to be certain that i'll be able to read my string quartet and piano sonata.
But if you can't, a 2.1 would be a raisonable compromise.
PS. The grade of availability and kindness you have is really amazing, and in my opinion greater than in other places:
You must love Puppy Linux very much!:)

No, Puppy Package Manager.
Menu --> Setup --> Puppy Package Manager.

I've just installed the quickpet version of musescore;
I setted "alsa" as audio device in preferences.
And finally, i put manually the soundfont in the folder "Sound" of musescore (you find the exact root easly, just googling). That soundfont is not being installed automatically when you download musescore.
I'll send you the piece yesterday i worked with: you deserve it!;)
