Hello everybody:
I've got a problem with my PC. That is when I put the computer in "suspend" mode (suspensiĆ³n) there is a problem, because it could be reactivated using the mouse and when I hit the table o a small movement of the mouse makes my computer works again.
How can I configure my mouse not to do this?
Thanks a lot.

two methods - check out the sleep mode options and deactivate checkbox near "wake up on mouse movement"!
or just plug out the mouse=)

My personal approach to this involves two things. A key-binding, and turning the mouse off.
I have a key-binding set-up in /etc/xdg/templates/_root_jwmrc to invoke the suspend script I use by pressing the "Pause" button.....this chosen because I never, ever use it for anything, AND the 'function' is actually quite appropriate. So, if I want to suspend, I first switch my wireless mouse OFF.....and then I hit the "Pause" button, and let the suspend script do its thing.
It works better for me because I often have to leave my PC at irregular periods during the day, and upon returning I carry on from where I was by simply wiggling the mouse to 'wake' everything up again. IF I disable 'wake up on mouse movement', I can't do this!
Mike.

There is also an option in bios about Mouse, Keyboard, Network to wake-up pc from suspension, normally where you choose S3 mode, don't know if is overridden by software.
