Can't choose savefile partition

I have installed fossapup on a laptop on sda4. When I shut down, it asks me whether to create a save file, but only allows me to save it to sda2. Even if I copy the savefile to sda4, it does not find it. I also have tahrpup on sda4 and this was happy putting its savefile on sda4. What have I done wrong?

Hello @CSH

Happy New Year!
Can you tell us what each partition is formatted to? The inability to find /mnt/sda4 in your case could be caused by Puppy not finding the correct format. First, start with what the types of drives and what type of formatting you have on this system in question.

The disk is ATA Toshiba MQ01ABF0

sda2 is formatted Fat32
sda4 is formatted ext4

The files for booting (vmlinux, initrd.gz and *drv_fossspup64_9.5,sfs) are all on sda4
as are the same for 32-bit tahrpup and its savefile

Are all the files for Fossapup in it's own directory(Folder)?
Are all the files for Tahrpup in it's own directory?
So each are completely seperated from the other.
Did you install a boot loader?
What boot loader is being used?

Tahrpup is in one directory, fossapup in another
Boot loader is grub2
