iPhone 4s --> 30 pins --> usb --> NB (fossapup 9.5)

iPhone 6 --> 8 pins --> usb --> NB (fossapup 9.5)

can't access iPhone photos. need helps,TKS.

Did you use pupcamera to access your iPhone?

it pop out a PupCamera window automatically --> mount --> open --> empty folder

wait a minute or two, then, in Rox-Filer-Window with the empty folder,
klick on "refresh" / reload / reread directory in Toolbar.
(I doesn't know the real title of that button, my Puppy is german )) )
If it doesn't success, tear all USB-Handy-cable out, reboot Puppy,
put the cables again in, in popup-window click mount, wait, refresh RoxWindow.

Hope it helps.

I do not know about iphones.

On my phone the micro USB port does not auto switch from power to data.
Have to go into phone settings and change USB from power to data to get it to work like a data port.

--> HTC 816 set file transfer --> PupCamera window pops out --> MOUNT
--> OPEN --> no empty folder --> can access photos.

iPhone 4s,6 --> USB --> NB (fassapup 9.5)--> PupCamera window pops out automatically
--> iPhone set allow (no enery time show up set allow window)
--> MOUNT --> OPEN --> empty folder

Mounting iphones in Linux generally requires libimobiledevice-utils and libimobiledevice6.

test again.

NB frugal install fossapup 9.5,no install any package.
set language to zh_TW,save and reboot.

iPhone 6 --> USB --> NB -->PupCamera --> MOUNT --> OPEN
--> iPhone 6 set allow --> NB /media/camera1 --> access photos.

iPhone 4S --> USB --> NB --> iphone 4s set allow, NB PupCamera
--> MOUNT --> OPEN --> NB /media/camera1 --> access photos.

but not every time can access photos.
(sometime show up empty folder)

NB means NoteBook (Laptop computer).

does menu>>filesystem>>pupMTP work?
