Bad Florence in 64-bit Puppy

Post by boof »

using 64bit 8.0 puppy.
firefox started by <apulse firefox> in terminal.
florence has keystroke sounds on.
florence works for a while, then the sound stops, and next keypress florence drops out.
getting very annoying. went out again on the last <v>.
the 32 bit version of both are ok, and work normally without key sounds.
it's been about 2-3weeks now of this, and i'm not happy. Also, 64bit does not retain internet startup after reboot. upgrading to 9.0 didn't work at last check, and it may also be imperfect.

How is Bionicpup64 8.0 installed?
Full or frugal?
If frugal have you made a save and are booting using the save?

Have you run Quickpet->Info->Bionicpup updates?
Rebooted and saved so new changes are now being used?

Exactly how did you get and install Florence?

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
