Barry,
do you need donations for your eye surgery as it took place in a private clinic?

Barry,
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Thankfully it was a BCC and not a more serious cancer. Such incredible complexity required to complete the removal.

No, that was a pleasant surprise.
As it was a referral from the public hospital, the hospital paid for it.
The private clinic would have charged me if I had private health insurance, but as I don't, the hospital paid for it.
I had an uncle, now deceased, who accidentally put out one of his eyes when he was a child. He seemed to do ok with just one eye. Grew up on a farm, played sports in high school, drove a car, finagled his way into the Marines for 4 years as a heavy equipment mechanic and worked as a mechanic until he retired. He lived to be 90, by the way.
Sounds like your doctors know what they're doing, Barry.
Take care of yourself @BarryK health is important so no undue strain on yourself.
I'm up there in years and have my good days and bad days and so on the bad days I just sit back and relax.
Will keep you in our prayers for a speedy recovery.
Take care of yourself.
@BarryK
You will be back to the projects soon enough! Take care and let it heal! Best wishes from Connecticut.
No hurries and see you soon!!!!
@BarryK
Hope you have a swift recovery!
Wish you well!
You look about like me.
The age, where you are happy when you get up in the morning, that nothing new feel off overnight
When asked how you are doing?
I am functional!
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected
Take care, Barry.
Best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery.
