Gluqlo: Fliqlo for Linux compiled in NoblePup64

Post by rockedge »

Gluqlo is a SDL remake of well-known awesome Fliqlo screensaver which is originally avaliable for Windows and OSX platforms only. Gluqlo is inspired by (and to some extent is based on) noflipqlo aka Now Open Flipqlo 2.0 by Jacek Kuźniarski. Currently it's very close to original Fliqlo (as I hope).

Reminds me of the 1970's........ so I compiled a version of Gluqlo: Fliqlo for Linux
Easy to run using run-as-spot or full screen mode gluqlo -root
or as shown in the screenshot run-as-spot gluqlo -r 420x300

Running the latest NoblePup64 built on woof-CE in the first week of March 2025, as a fresh install with the Devx loaded. Finding it is doing a good job of compiling packages. I've built a XBPS package manager and installed it in this NoblePup64 for building .xbps packages for KLV's while using Puppy Linux. In this system building PET and XBPS packages are easy after I installed the PET package assembler alongside the xbps package manager, which is fully functional and can and will install Void Linux packages directly into NoblePup64. I have successfully installed some smaller packages from the Void Linux repo's using xbps-install but must be use with caution. Too adventurous and the system will be broken, but living on the edge here is interesting.

Might run on a variety of distro's and any testing will be appreciated :ugeek:
