Also, no worries at all. I genuinely figured there was a >50% chance I'd misunderstood and someone would simply correct me or point me somewhere I'd failed to look. If builds broke and need work to sort out that's completely understandable, expected even. Indeed, I've got projects of my own that require attention—I'd best get back to them.
Before I do though, 30 seconds to express my appreciation for this project: I've kept a live-boot rescue OS in my wallet for system recovery for over a decade: Knoppix, DSL, re-mastered puppies, Kaisen have all gotten extended trials. Vanilla Dpup is the first one I've genuinely liked. The first one I could simply pull configs from my daily driver and have all my preferred tools working as desired on a completely portable system (all in about an hour). The setup is so fully-functional for me that I've even started using it to do actual productive work on random systems I'm working on, at friends houses on their PCs, even once at the library. Anyway, a great idea, well executed, and much appreciated.
