I downloaded it, and it is working well.
How do I remove the vertical "bars"? I know that shows the tabs but it's taking up about 20% of my screen. Also I'm having a little trouble customizing the tool bar. Some of the buttons seem stuck there permanently, buttons that I would normally remove, like the 'extensions' button.
Also in some sites, another bar appears on the right, also taking up another 20% of the screen, such as when I check my AOL email messages, so I have no access to the left side of the website, since it's covered by the vertical 'tab bar'.

Browser window.

zen brower (AppImage) from the main download site https://zen-browser.app/download/ works well in Bookworm64 and CE4. Is there any distinct advantage with portable version?

Zen is a wowser browser. I've run the AppImage on Bookworm, S15, KLA, KLV, FossaDog, etc. It seems to be a de-bloated Firefox with a spanking new shell and much stronger security provisions. A lot of redundant actions have been eliminated, so it's easier to use, once you get used to it. It's also a speed demon, even on old (64-bit) junk ready for the recycling bin. It's probably not the best browser for someone fresh from Wind10, but, if you're comfortable in the environment, play with this beta baby. It has already climbed my favorites list to the top three, and I'm only getting started with it. Mauro Baladés (mr.m) and Oscar Gonzalez seem to be the prime movers on this project, and they've got a big bevy of contributors. I'm not sure why it's still in beta; it looks well waxed and polished to me - very slick ride!
