Pupsave folder not recognized at bootup when installed in the second partition of the USB key.

Hi you all!

This is my first post on this forum. I've been learning a lot from you folks, puppy linux is a great project!
I've been a Debian user for the last 20 years and now I'm getting my feet wet with puppy.
I've installed a USB stick with Bookworm Pup 10.0.9 via Rufus 4.6, with a persistence partition formatted in ext3 mode. I was expecting to save my progress to this partition in a folder.
At the end of my session, everything went fine, the pupsave was written to the persistence partition. But then it was not recognized at boot-up, as the system acted as it was the first run.
I'm trying puppy in an old laptop with Debian installed to the HD. If I choose the HD as the pupsave folder, then the pupsave is read at boot-up and all goes well. But if I choose the USB second partition, the pupsave is ignored by the OS...
Could someone please explain what I am doing wrong?
Any help is much appreciated!

Igor

P.S. I'm using a Samsung N150P laptop from 2011 with just 2GB of RAM. HD is a 60GB SSD.

Check to see if there is a SAVESPEC file on the location you boot from.

If so, open it in a text editor and show us its contents.
