 "problem" with mtpaint snapshot (no popup) [SOLVED]

Post by pp4mnklinux »

Hi @BarryK :

First of all, Happy Christmas for you and for every EasyOS user.

It is not a real problem, so I wrote it with "".

With previous EasyOS versions, when you made a screenshoot using mtpaint snapshot, a pop up appeared showing 15 seconds time to take the photo.

With version 6.5.1.1 this popup doesn't appear, so if u are not used to this program it is possible users click once and again on this program icon.

I don't know if this only happens to me (it is possible I changed any option) so if any other user can confirm it.....

Thanks a lot.

related with mtpaint screenshot delay time, how can we modify this 15 seconds waiting time?

THANKS

Are you running Easy Daedalus?

Right now I'm running Scarthgap, and mtpaint 15-sec timeout message appears correctly.

I tested in daedalus container, and get that problem. Testing in a terminal:

Code: Select all

# mtpaintsnapshot.sh
/usr/bin/mtpaintsnapshot.sh: line 23: yaf-splash: command not found

OK, I'm onto it.

Edit line 23 in /usr/bin/mtpaintsnapshot.sh,

replace "yaf-splash" with "gtkdialog-splash"

The fix will be in the next release of daedalus.
