Here is a comparison of ram use for some 64bit Puppy's on a low powered single core 2gb computer. Although these will vary depending on the exact computer, they can be used as a relative reference. Use was checked immediately after booting.

Low powered 64bit computers using Puppy
Test hardware:
Toshiba a135-s7403 (2006):
cpu = 1.73ghz celeron m 530 (merom) single core 64bit Passmark v9=536
ram = 2gb (2x1gb pc2-4200)

Notes:
Frugal installs
Grub4Dos menu.lst file using pfix=nocopy,fsck
Booted with minimal save folder
Ram Used taken from terminal "free" command
ZRAM swap increases available ram using compression, appears to be faster than using swap file or swap partition

EDIT:
241024 - add S15 and re-ran all test with minimal save folder

S15Pup64 is 127MB and my Fossa Fire (cut-down version of Fossa95 is 121MB). It has to be noted that only the essential stuff are loaded at bootup so these figures does not paint a clear picture as some systems may have more stuff builtin that are loaded as "essential" components (conman for instance). How the operating system will deal with RAM usage during operation is more important.
