If you have dealings with 23 & Me then read this article, they are going broke and are probably going to sell all the DNA they collected from their customers.
23andMe was never officially available in my country, but not for privacy reasons. There was a time that I wanted to order a kit but almost immediately the fad peaked and we stopped hearing stories about how cool it was and I lost interest. Once South Park did an entire episode on it.
Pretty happy my DNA isn't in their database though!
