I have a DELL Dimension 2400 built in 2003. Single core Celron CPU 2.4 gHz with 2 G of RAM, it is a 32 bit only i686 machine.
Installed on the main internal 40 G HDD is a 32 bit Tahr-6.0.5 set up in 2015.

It is set up as a print server with a Canon MG2500 attached to it. Also does a great job running WINE so photo and image editing and production is easy and well within the performance range this machine can produce. This desktop tower is known for it's very quiet run states and I can barely hear it.

This a remastered Tahr-6.0.5 operating system that has never been updated since it was installed in 2015. The browsers are old but I don't browse the web with this machine. A full web server and Zoneminder installation was remastered into this distro.

Tahr-6.0.5-zm7 is the 7th version of Puppy Linux Tahr-6.0.5 with a fully functional web server and Zoneminder installation ready to go. This machine is no longer required to run the ZM or the server but it is easy to connect to via SAMBA and FTP. Mostly doing print jobs and document/photo scanning, the DELL is surprisingly responsive and quick running the 32 bit Puppy Linux.

At idle the system only needs 72 M of RAM to run.

This is a nice version of Puppy! Superbe!! :thumbup2: I use the 64-bit version from time to time and it runs smoothly!
