Hello

I managed to install Veracrypt 1.25.9 on puppy linux BookwormPup64 10.0.7 last time
but the newest version 1.25.14 requires actions that I am not sure how to run

Requirements for Running VeraCrypt:
-----------------------------------

- FUSE library and tools
- device mapper tools
- PC/SC Lite (optional)

Moreover.
This very tiny software could be very useful IF installed on Puppy straight of out the box on Puppy 10.0.8 for instance :?:

Can anyone help me with the lines to run on the terminal about the above requirements please ?

thanks :thumbup2:

To try it out I used veracrypt-1.26.14-setup.tar.bz2 as the version to set up.

I am testing first on a KLV-Boxer and the install went smooth and veracrypt started right up.

I will have to install a BookwormPup next to try it there. Perhaps the generic version I used might be perhaps better than the .deb package versions to get running.

@dan1111 It looks like if you click the Install VeraCrypt button that it will proceed to install it.

I did that then updated the system's menus and then clicking the menu selection the program ran like in the screenshot I posted.

Seem like you've almost completed the install!

Thanks

I have asked the dev of Veracrypt for clearing the issue since this seems to occur on other Linux Distros as well
