GTK +2 Theme Customization Only Affect Some Applications (Solved)

I'm trying to customize a theme, making fonts a little smaller, and I noticed the changes I made on "Chtheme GTK/Qt Theme Chooser" only affected some applications and not all. Geany and LibreOffice for example, the menu text size did not change at all. On Geany, if I go to EDIT>>PREFERENCE and change the interface font and size, it only changes the main window. How can I change the settings?

Yes, the gtk theme may only be for gtk+2. Look at the gtk themes in the noarch repo:

https://distro.ibiblio.org/easyos/noarc ... es-noarch/

Those named "gtk_2_3_theme..." are for both gtk+2 and gtk+3. the others are gtk+2 only.

However, gtk+3 font and size is set here, overrides theme, so you can edit it:

/etc/gtk-3.0/settings.ini

Also, you can change font size for all apps, by menu "Desktop -> Set global font size"

Thanks @BarryK. Changing settings in /etc/gtk-3.0/settings.ini did the trick :thumbup2:
