It's PaaS fever, PaaS madness.
Product as a Service aka subscription.
HP has started it though (with its printers)

What about...

Boyfriend as a service...
Girlfriend as a service...
Husband as a service...
Wifey as a service...

Gig economy with subscriptions... So very undependable income flow with mandatory regular monthly subscription fees, otherwise known as rent. Back to traditional methods of money extraction from the rabble.

Just second Gilded Age....

Take closer look at book from that era called The Jungle, yea its mostly known for getting people upset about adulterated meat. But isnt modern peasant life headed same direction as described by the family in this novel? Ah back to the good ole days and traditional family life. Cant make the rent, send family members out to prostitute themselves one way or another. Medical care too expensive, better just die and decrease the surplus population.

At some point a company must make a subscription to get rid of subscriptions? I mean there would definietly be an audience for that service

How much would that company charge to get rid of subscriptions, like monthly?
