Is there a theme in jwm that looks like macos. Am new here and I've been researching for ways to make my puppy look like mac instead of download a different type of puppy. Also is the environment xfce and if not is there a way to change it to that for customizations

Won't the animations eat up ram space i have 3 gb of ram and pentium iv processor. All what is that puppy based on. is it bookworm pup or fossa. It looks cool with the animations but i just need something to setup on my pc and not have issues at all. Especially when am browsing or doing some other tasks. Windows made me cry over resources but so far puppy is alright and hopes this is too
I understand, what you need is something simple and minimalist like a puppy with jwm that does not consume many resources, so I think that to make it look like a macos you need 1- a mac-type icon theme 2- a simple panel with the shutdown icon on a side, 3- an extra panel full of many shortcuts to applications that can be done from the jwm settings and finally a good desktop background, if you continue using rox you will still not use many resources but if you want a file manager similar to mac you would have to install thunar and that takes a lot more, of course you can do all that with jwmconfig
I use Bionicpup64. For the dock, I installed Wbar and Wbar-config. Changing the wallpaper. I put the task bar on top and hidden. I also changed the buttons on the windows and harmonize the colors using JWMdesk Theme Manager. It's not macOS but it's in the spirit.
You could make it look more like MAC OS, but why?
If it was based on MAC OS it would be called Puppymac.
Do you fully understand how to use what is already in BookwormPup64?
Or is it you want to work the same way MAC OS does, because you already know how to use it?
Want to get at the menu of programs?
Right click on the desktop and the menu will show.
Or click on the menu icon left side of desktop tray.
You want a launch bar on the desktop?
Menu ->JWMDesk ->Options tab ->Accessory Tray
Check launch bar
Set number of items to have in it.
Click on apply.
JWMDesk ->Tray tab
Tray 2 is the one you just made and here you can adjust it.
Tray 1 is the main tray along the bottom of the desktop.
JWMDesk ->Launch tab
Here is where you can select what buttons to have in tray 2 or tray one.
To make it show what tray to affect.
Click on the tray 1 or 2 button and it will go back to JWMDesk -Tray tab window.
Select the Launch Tab
It should now be showing what tray it will affect, with changes made here.
Have you clicked on the places icon on the left end of the main tray?
Checked out the settings icon on the right end of the tray?
Additional Software section ->Eye Candy has all kinds of stuff to change looks of stuff.

Just keep using the same old operating system.
change is good, if you are willing to embrace it.
There are many things about Puppy Linux, that I now like over other OS's, I have used.
It is not like the other OS's.
A few things are just common to all OS's. All have them.
Mouse clicks, keyboard, display windows for open programs, a desktop, main menu, etc.......
But the things that are different, make them their own OS.
If I did not need Windows OS for games. I would never use it.
No way do I want Puppy Linux to look and work like Windows OS.
I do not even think the people working on it's development, like a lot of it.
But with each new version.
They have to make something different, to make people think, they need to buy, the newer version. 
Puppy Linux has drive icons on the desktop.
They are there for a good reason.
After you learn to use them.
You will grow to like them and use them.
Something other OS's do not have.

Hi, @gbest , first of all, THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT, haha, it is only because you are new at this forum and it is possible you never heard about this puppy.
It was modded by @nilsonmorales and it is an F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI https://archive.org/details/f96ce3_xfce_fusilli modded to look like a MAC.

Hey, I did try it out but i guess the animations make it use up processing power to the fullest. Surfing the internet with it makes it harder. I have 2Gb of ram and a core 2 cpu on the test system here. My personal pc to use gas 4gb of ram and pentium 4 processor. Hope it won't fail out. Like i am seeing here. Overall it's definitely what i need but just seems yo lag whenever the animations starts
Hi @gbest , that's the prize you must pay for these animations (but with better hardware it rocks, haha)
Of course, you can modify it, adjust it and put the efects you want, only editing some files, but.... I don't know if you control puppy to these levels (really simple, but difficult for newbies, you know).
I don't now how to explain you all the process because it can be confuse and difficult to explain it writing, but you can use fxffux and mute it betwen fusilli (full of effects and xfce... without most of them but manteining the dock and buttons and.....)
To do this, you must go to the task bar, find de picture icon and right click on it to mute between fusilli or xfce.
I'm sorry not to explain more things, but as everybody says.... Practice makes Expertice.... so PRACTICE.

As BologneChe noted you can install wbar. But IMHO radky's enhancements to JWM has made it into the most highly and easily configurable desktop environment of ANY operating system. See bigpup's post above on how to add a 2nd Panel and place launcher's on it. The Tray section of JWMDesk enables you to configure on which edge you want each panel and whether or not they are hidden when not moused over. Menu>Desktop>JWM Theme Manager enables you to customize or create themes. I use it primarily to change the background color of panels.
Any wallpaper you find or create can be used. You can store them anywhere. But for convenience I keep all wallpapers in the same folder as the originals --usr/share/backgrounds-- which is the default location where JWMDesk>Backgrounds looks.
Look in Eye Candy, https://www.forum.puppylinux.com/viewforum.php?f=100 for lots of icon themes and other "Eye Candy". You're don't even have to stick with any desktop Save Icon. Any icon you find or create can be used. Just Right-Click it, select File-Save>Set Icon and drag your choice onto it.
My current Desktop: Hide-able 2nd Panel on the Left-edge; Launchers for the most often used [or quickly desired [e.g. Take-a-Shot] applications on the Bottom Panel; other often used Launchers on the Left-panel; pwidgets (on the Right), https://www.forum.puppylinux.com/viewto ... 778#p95778 replacing Conky.
