After installation of the sfs devx, some files of /usr/lib/modules/<kernel version> are copied in /mnt/wkg/.session .

This probably has no consequences but it's curious.

EDIT; Same observation if the sfs installed in the main filesystem is not devx

Yes, that is done as a precaution.

The nvidia sfs for example, has kernel modules, which requires depmod to be run, both when install the sfs and after removing it.
