Detox is a lovely command for fixing files with names#%20%like%20%this____%20##wtf%__.txt so they can be copied to Windows without Windows gagging on them. Is there an EasyOS version or could somebody tell me how to make one please and thank you?

Here is a pet from an unofficial package for the Slackware distro (https://slackers.it/repository/slackwar ... 64-1cf.txz)
It do not change the %20 by default. Maybe with the use of a "sequence" (see the man page). I did not find a way

That filename with the %20 in it was just a made-up example. I could have said, "a filename containing garbage that Windows can't handle".
Anyway thanks. "detox -r -v /files/downloads" cleans up the stuff just fine.
People, detox is a great tool. Not only does it clean out garbage, but it also fixes multiple underlines in filenames. Even if all you use is Linux, it's still useful for cleaning up junky filenames and making your folders look nicer.
