Do you know a visual PDF editor for Linux that would not only allow you to add text to your PDFs, like fill in a form, but also draw and sketch on the PDF and save those changes as a new PDF?

Thanks for your feedback!

The built-in Xournal does the job for me.

Xournal works most of the time, but every now and again it scrambles things up for some reason.

I have found GIMP to be the best PDF editor for my purposes.

LibreOffice (Draw) can also edit PDFs and you can actually edit an already existing text with it.

Greetings!

That's pretty neat though it is not obvious when drag&drop a PDF from ROX-Filer into the Draw window. In this case it appears to be a mere image of the PDF page where only annotations can be added on top of it. However when using the break option this "image" is broken down into its components and the text components can be edited.
When using Draw's Open dialog the PDF is opened in a broken down state already. Somewhat more intuitive .
