I know this has been discussed before but I can't find it.
I'm running Fossapup64 9.5.
I don't remember how I installed the offending items.
Would someone kindly give me an idiots guide on how to do this.
Thanks in advance.
Phil

@bigphil :-
Um. O-kayyy....
Are you just wanting to 'tidy up' the Menu (easy to do).....or do you also want to completely remove the associated, offending software that the Menu entry will launch?
If the former, there's two routes you can take.
1) Remove the appropriate .desktop files from /usr/share/applications, followed by entering (in the terminal):
and then
2) OR, there's a way to do exactly the same in JWMDesk; same commands behind the scenes, but it gives you a nice GUI to play with instead. Never used it myself, but others can direct you there easily enough.
----------------------------------
If you want to get shot of the associated software, uninstalling it automatically removes the Menu entry.

@bigphil
IIRC, in Menu -> Setup there should be an item called Menu Manager
It can remove items from the menu without touching the installed program.
