( KaraokeBase-fossapup_9.5.sfs md5: 23199510a0dc879e4aa2c66d17cdb0fd )
You need to load and mount 32bit compatibilty sfs from quickpet if you don't have it.
Run through Menu>>Multimedia>>Karaoke (You may need to do Menu>>Fixmenus so that an item to run appears in the menu)
What is it and why is it so big? Convenient karaoke for Fossapup in .kar format with songs in 10 languages. There are 22830 .kar files in total.
Contains a built-in portable Wine, a large bank of instruments and a convenient program for searching, selecting and listening .kar files.
From the Linux side works Fluidsynth, Qsynth and Wine, and from the Windows side works Karaoke Base itself and famous in past vanBasco karaoke player.
Fluidsynth and Qsynth are fresh and compiled in Fossapup. Portable Wine of version 5.4 is used, because newer versions of Wine messed up and sucks.
I got tired of editing the registry, but now everything seems to work as it should.
1. You can use the Base to remember a forgotten melody, because thanks to the smart search, the desired song is easy to find.
2. You can save a file from the database to a .kar file and then import it into LMMS as a midi file, pick up synthesizers and do whatever you want with it.
3. You can simply use it as karaoke and player for .midi and .kar files

By the way. If the sound seems too vibrating, then call Qsynth (this is that big orange blob in the system tray) and turn off or play with the chorus and reverb parameters (especially chorus).
