Dim, I've been tasting your vanillas over the last three days for the first time.
Quick questions:
1. Retro vs. others: what's in the 577MB (891-314)?
2. Retro does not run ".AppImage"? (at least for LibreWolf here)
Cheers

See viewtopic.php?t=9113, it sacrifices everything possible including hardware support and performance for smaller size.
For AppImages to work, you probably need to install libfuse2.
@dimkr, tasting your retro flavor feels like wine tasting.
Adding "Libfuse2" proves to make my system intoxicated.
I think I should take the vanilla one (non-WL). I feel like
sipping wine with a hot girl who goes by the name of

The 129 MB difference in ISO size comes from:
1. adrv - BookwormPup64 moves Firefox to adrv, Vanilla Dpup keeps it inside puppy_vanilladpup_10.0.53.sfs (it's by far the biggest application
2. BookwormPup64's Firefox is built from the Mozilla tarball and not from the Debian package - I don't know if it's bigger or smaller
3. Translations - BookwormPup64 includes only English translation (that's Puppy tradition), while Vanilla Dpup provides all language support (including Firefox language packs) through nlsx
