I tested with mp3 Direct Cut
https://mpesch3.de/
Just clicking on exe file will launch in Rox filer

File System > wine file Manager
will show drive C
Music will play and editing can be done.

Note I noticed that when dragging a large mp3 file in mp3 DC window there is a delay of several seconds
before the cursor changes shape and mp3 file will load

Is it possible to install MS office through wine. Just asking

Pet hangs during installation on my desktop PC.

Fresh install of qv
Clicked on pet file and it installed although it seemed to hesitate because it is a big pet.
Note that I have a 8 gb RAM and lots of hard drive space

Wine menus installed themselves in start menu
I got the usual message to install gecko which I ignored.
Direct Cut mp3 editor installed properly.
Everything seems OK.
