For those wondering why our prolific cobber, mikewalsh has been quiet for over a week, poor fella has a bad case of flu. But he's on the mend!

I had it 5 weeks ago. I almost didn't make. It lasted for 3.5 weeks from start to finish...at my age.

Now, THAT I don't find hard to believe. Last time I had a bad dose of this, I was a good 30 yrs younger.....far fitter, and more capable of fighting it off. It took nearly 10 days then....... I'm now 30 yrs older, fighting what by all accounts is one of the nastiest varieties for a long time; it's been a fortnight, and I've still got QUITE a way to go.....

I hate gettin' older!

It worked for me to get cured of Covid 19.

Well crap! I've hunted everywhere in my neck of the woods, and NOBODY has any "chicken soap"! I've heard of
lye soap...is this similar but made from chicken fat instead of rendered pork fat?
