No sound from FF in Fossa 9v5. (part #2 - and solved)

This is a new thread, continuing from a previous thread, "No sound from FF in Fossa 9v5. (abandoned)"
My solution: Install Fossa 9-6. Get Firefox, with sound 'for free'.
In short - I abandoned the original idea of re-using a version of Firefox I found in my system directory.
Worked before (with uPupBB and before my HDD crashed ).
I installed Fossa but only 9.5 Fossa 96-CE, has FireFox in the *.iso. Silly me. Well, I'm almost there.
After abandoning my first attempt (mentioned in the abandoned thread) I tried to install FF/Fossa 95 using a method from 'menu': I don't remember the detail but I downloaded FF and it never worked.
@amethyst suggested I use MikeWalsh's portable version of FF.
Sounds like a good idea. Well I wrote: "I'll return when I've done that." That was in the past. Now I'm using Fossa 96.
I'm just a regular user of Puppy-Linux. Once all apps (etc) are in place I don't meddle with the beast.

Fossapup64 9.5 does not use Pulse Audio.
Do not try to install Pulse Audio. It is not that simple to add.
Firefox and some other browsers want this as how to play sound.
Fossapup64 9.5 is designed to use ALSA for sound production.
So for Puppy versions that are not built to use Pulse Audio.
A pet was made, that will provide enough stuff, to make them think they are using Pulse Audio when actually it is ALSA.
Get the pet from here and install it:
apulse
viewtopic.php?t=266
Reboot and make sure the save is updated so it is all there to use when you run the browser.
Add apulse to terminal command to run the browser:
apulse firefox
Or in the firefox.desktop file that is used for the menu entry. (/usr/share/applications/ )
Edit the exec= line adding apulse to the beginning of it.

@bigpup
Thank you for your observations. I got sound (with FF) in a different way.
But first: - thanks to everyone who offered a solution! @amethyst, @mikeslr and many others.
I knew Fossa-96-CE had FF installed, but I chose to install Fossa 95. That's where my problem began.
Knowing FF was in 96-CE I deleted 95 and installed 96. FF is included in Fossa96CE.iso.
Perhaps a little crude - but 96-CE is doing it now for me.
That's the short solution.
