dpup-stretch is a relatively recent publication which, as of July 2020, was often recommended for older, resource-limited computers. jamesbond had posted how he had been able to boot it to desktop using only 68 Mbs of RAM. Despite that, it was built using libraries new enough that current web-browsers could be run without having to install a substantial number of dependencies. Of course, running web-browsers will quickly require significantly mor RAM.
