Hi forum
Sharing this version of pcmanfm-1.3.1-1 for Fossapup64-9.5 (recomended), this version has integrated PVM (0.1.17), DDI (0.0.5) and GVFS (1.44.1).

This version has not been tested yet on another 64b puppy (lack of time and effort :D ), but being a recent version, I think it could work from Xenialpup64 to Upupgg+D64b, so I recommend that if you want to install / test, log in to ram session in case ==> the flies don't fly <== :?

Here the link

Here the screenshoot

Any bug please coment me

Cheers!

Is pup-volume-monitor version 0.1.15 or 0.1.17?

pup-volume-monitor-admin -v

will tell the version....

If it's 0.1.17 - where did you get it from as other 64-bit builds segfault on usb insertion.

Thanks

Hi pipzdex,

I've been experimenting with pcman and wondered if you have a link to the pup-volume-monitor version you used in fossa64 9.5?

Thanks
wizard

Pip, the discussion in this topic viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3670 has been about adding mount/unmount to thunar and pcmanfm. I'm primarily interested in pcman for fossa64. When I installed your pcmanfm-1.3.1_164B.pet which includes pvm, ddi, and gvfs it had some issues. One is duplication of drive icons on the desktop on boot up.

In the other topic it was stated that just pvm could provide the functions so that is what I wanted to test. I downloaded pcmanfm from the fossa64 ppm, then installed the pup-volume-monitor-0.1.17-amd64.pet from your link and it works perfect for adding the mount/unmount. This should also work for thunar.

Thanks

Hi @wizard

Thanks for your interest in the pet that I built and tell you that it is not that the drive icons are being "duplicated" on the screen, what usually happens is that between the ROX and DDI drive icons there is something called Compton (Picom-gtk) and This creates the transparency that allows you to see both drive icons overlapped, however both are created by different programs ...
I consider this to be the case that could have happened to you ...
Cheers !! :thumbup2:
