i need to transfer all yahoo spam to inbox [not spam] on all my yahoo email addresses, because they will not turn spam filter off, and i hate having 2 mail servers-thunderbird is enough. thunderbird forum reply says common problem, yet to be solved. suggests change email service , but that's my last resort.. i guess gmail similar?
@boof - you can set filters in yahoo mail. gmx mail sends you a spam notification with email subject - I've used it for years.
sorry, but i don't know what that means. my accounts are pop type, and i don't know anything about these ideas. i want to automate it.
perhaps theres a better client app?
@boof - setting filters is tricky - just wanted you to know it's possible at yahoo.com. gmx is another free email service (gmx.com). I run it as pop via thunderbird. By default, if you get spam in gmx mail, you are notified of just the spam email's subject via normal gmx mail. It also has filter options, but again, is tricky.
how 2 at yahoo pls, i'm useless at coding, and really don't want new email addresses.
it's done, but how does it work on spam folder, not on inbox, as source?
