Re: Fossapup User Contributed Packages
I'm trying to use dropbox in fossapup and it needs Glib 2.40 or greater. The link https://easyupload.io/sub6tc does not work says "file not found"
If this is a way for me to upgrade glib I'd like to try.

I'm using the free service, which has a 30-day limit.
FYI, I'm NOT a good keeper. I'm afraid I no longer have it.
Maybe @Jasper has his own.
@sonny
Mediafire only host files for 14 days and then delete them if they are not downloaded.
Maybe I should start using EasyUpload instead

I just checked my mediafire account & have puppy pets, some of which were uploaded back in 2010, and
they seem to be still available.
I do not have a 'Registered Account', all my uploads have been provided like this here on the forum.
@MochiMoppel
The forum only allows a set number of formats/sizes of attachments to be included in messages posted on the forum.
Deleted.

Let me remind you my fossa repo is available at:

FYI, if you don't want to use telegram, files can be downloaded upon request (pm please).

Then adjust the size and or change format of the image attachment, or try to make sure that the images are always existing on the web service you use (edit: e.g. from a cloud service, I use dropbox for that), MochiMoppel has a point, it's annoying that images are shared but often can't be viewed on this forum on the long(er) term.
@Jasper :-
Um....huh?!?
I have had a 'free' account at MediaFire since 2015. I have many files at that account, some of which have been there for better than 7 years or more, nor have they been downloaded for ages. They're STILL there.
Perhaps this 14-day limit is a recent thing, or maybe I'm now using my a/c under "Grandad" rules because I've been with them for so long. I really wouldn't like to say.
I've always found them very helpful, and on two occasions they've gone out of their way to resolve minor (yet annoying!) issues very promptly. Certainly can't fault them (or perhaps on both occasions I caught their customer service people on a 'slow' day)..!
-------------------------
As for image-hosting, I can thoroughly recommend PostImage:-
I've been with these since Imgur revamped their site and buggered everything up, which would make it, oh.....around mid-to-late 2018, I guess. I have to agree with Mochi and Fred about long-term implications; I looked at img.bb when I was switching from Imgur, several years ago. I remember reading somewhere in their conditions that their service was ONLY intended for short-term sharing.......and indeed, many of the 'missing' 'hosted' images on both this AND the old Murga forum ALL seem to be from img.bb.
Even for something as mundane as image-sharing, it's worth taking the extra couple of minutes to quickly scan through their terms & conditions. It's no criticism of you, Jasper; it's a general human failing that so many of us don't check stuff more thoroughly. It's also why so many Windows package installers RELY on folks clicking through the EULA as rapidly as possible, to get to the "interesting stuff" more quickly..!
I think maybe we're ALL 'guilty' of this one.......to a greater or lesser degree.
Mike.

@Pikaxhu
You are hosting applications that have been compiled by me!!
Hi @Jasper
Indeed, as your links vanished on a couple of weeks, I guess it's worth to keep them on a safe place. Sorry if it's a problem to you, it was not my intention. If you check, the set also includes @Sonny packages, as well a few built by me. I did that for other pupplets, for your reference.
