Hi @Sofiya , As I wrote at the capture, It was my error.
I see now this is your homepage, not the wallpaper (its your browser) and at the beggining I thought you were using an active desktop.- That is... A desktop where you can activate items .- Like in a chromebook configured with active desktop.
If you know how to do it.- It could be a good idea design a desktop with active shortcuts to the most important puppy related pages, so we have a PUPPY DESKTOP.

Have a nice day...and excuse for my fault.-

yes This is my browser with my active wallpaper.
You need something like Launcher
@pp4mnklinux If you are looking for an animated desktop, look in the Old Puppy Forum. Mike Walsh posted this a couple of years back; it might be of interest to you. Set animated GIF as desktop wallpaper? https://oldforum.puppylinux.com/viewtop ... 5&start=15 Further into the old forum - probably under Additional Software (PETs, n' stuff) 'Desktop', there are several suggestions and practical items on how to configure the desktop to look like the Windows 'Metro' theme. This may or may not be applicable to today's systems - the usual caveats apply - use at your own risk.
ETP created a 'Blue Puppy' based on 'Metro' and Quirky Tahr version 6.05 k3-12-6. Archived here: https://archive.org/details/Puppy_Linux_blue_pup
Also 'Chromecast'. https://archive.org/details/Puppy_Linux_chromecast_pup
At least a knowledge base for experimentation. Good luck!

I think most here are familiar by now with my general desktop layout; it's been added to, modified & refined over the years, but it actually hasn't changed that much at all!
I don't know if this will work; I'm going to try sharing a GIF from my Google Drive, 'cos PostImage have a limit size, and if I use the 'low-quality' option on Fred's GifCap it just looks crap:-
Here's a short vid just to kinda explain stuff a wee bit:-
I don't have huge amounts of animated stuff moving around all over the desktop; either 'static' GIFs that just look nice - like my running doggie, endlessly romping across the screen - or, as in the case of the spinning globes, launchers to bring other stuff up (again, thanks Fred).
That stuff you linked to was in fact all Fred's doing. I simply made up some all-in-packages with a 'template' GIF that could be swapped for whatever the user wanted, then moved to their preferred location.
Credit to the author where it's due!
Mike.

@mikewalsh Hi, Mike. No slight intended, simply thought yours was the 'magic' in the mix! I couldn't agree more, credit where credit is due; Fred's work is outstanding.
PS. Couldn't find the original series of articles within the original Forum, my 'searchfoo' is off - must be all those sunspots, as Cosmic Rays are intensifying over the forthcoming Solar Cycle. Back to the shed and my tinfoil hat!
It may take a little work and be messy. But digesting bookworms has its benefits.

Not everyone appreciates 70's Folk-Rock. Some neighbors complained. So we've moved to a more laid-back venue.
My usual over-all GUI: radky's JWM-Desk enabled customization of the JWM-Theme and the optional, hide-able, panel on the Left-Edge; haikumod the icon theme; zigbert's pwidgets on the Right-Edge; Customized Save-Icon (the Bag) and the Help (the Mermaid) desktop launcher with associated Help files courtesy of Wizard's Friendly-Fossa.

KLV-Spectrwm, the tiling window manager Kennel Void Linux. Amazingly productive setup once familiar with the layout.

Dear moderators, why can't I post screenshots from dpup with a tiled window manager here?
This thread already contains screenshots of distros other than Puppy (!!!), various desktops (especially XFCE) and window managers other than JWM.
