functional since 16th Feb due to code changes made by YouTube.

The current version of youtube-dl ( 2021.12.17 ) will be updated shortly to accomodate those changes
and I will edit this post to attach or link to the next version once it has been issued and tested.

The current version of youtube-dl ( 2021.12.17 ) has still not been updated but an unofficial nightly build from 23/02/23
containing the fix for the 4 YouTube channels is available. I am therefore issuing that in the form of a pet.

For easyOS, I have updated the PET to 2023MK1 from the first post in this thread.

Thanks for your post and latest release of EasyOS.
In order to maintain compatibility of the the pet with both WoofQ & WoofCE I will
incorporate your modified .desktop file in future versions of the TV Panel pet.

The next version (2023MK2) will be issued later this week as I need to change CGTN for a
more reliable channel.

I see from your shot that you are missing the four YouTube hosted channels which suggests that you

did not install the modified youtube-dl package pet which is now needed in addition to the latest TV Panel pet.

Please see item 3 in the "Changes in This Version" section of the original post in this thread.

In any event can you please post the output of the following command issued in the terminal

youtube-dl --version

I did not install the youtube-dl update pet because I used @BarryK's update script, which he announced in

(I modified the script slightly to keep old versions along the updated youtube-dl, as it's my preference).

How-to for Fatdog users who wish to enjoy ETP's TV PANEL:

1) Download the pets in the first post of this thread.
2) Convert them to Fatdog package format using rox right-click menu entry "convert pet..."
3) Install the packages
4) install mpv from GSlapt package manager
5) TV Panel (tvpanel) will be in the Multimedia section of the system menu.

ALTERNATIVE steps 1 and 2 for power users:
If you prefer to update youtube-dl with a script, get BarryK's script and update youtube-dl online with the script.

Testing 11 channels on my Fujitsu laptop...

I enjoy your Global IP TV Panel and have run it today (after an update
to youtube-dl and & latest 2024MK2 pet) with BookwormPup64_10.0.6

It seems today I had a problem only with DW News:

Thanks for your report and it is good to hear that you enjoy the TV panel
which gives the news a global perspective.

Today about 10 hours ago, both DW News & SKY News changed their urls again
much to my frustration as the 2024 MK2 version was only issued yesterday after a
few days testing.

The youtube-dl command line errors are a bit misleading as there is no problem with it
other than it no longer has a valid stream to process.

The YouTube screen message is also confusing as what it indicates is a permanent
or temporary change to the video ID referenced in the url !

I now have the fresh stream urls for both DW & Sky on test and will issue 2024 MK3
once satisfied that the changes are not temporary. Be assured that you did nothing wrong!
