I just find the iso file on github. Browser "light 48.0" doesn't show them (a bit old, I presume).

In your menu.lst for grug4dos change every instance of "CVoidPup" to just /VoidPup then reboot.
Tried VoidPup32-22.02-230701 :
Firmware zd1211 (wireless lan) missing (a bit old maybe). Copied from +14. Ok.
"Voidpup app install" is ok.
The old Ydvr (thunar, ...) : no change : crash at boot (put into frugal install directory), or no wallpaper (loaded with sfs-load), as before.

Idiot installation advice please.
I have booted a dvd with iso on it so it runs when computer switches on from the dvd. And good to use too.
How do I then install it on my hard drive so I don't have to load it every time from my dvd as on fully on computer wiping out previous Linux os
I can think of two methods. The easiest --using grub2config-- doesn't always work. But it's worth a try and won't break anything.
0. If the latest version of Grub2config (currently 2.0.8) isn't already installed, follow the links from here, https://www.forum.puppylinux.com/viewto ... 703#p29703 to install it. Restart-x to register the new application: Menu>Exit>Restart-x or Graphical Server.
After that both methods require creating a folder on your Hard-drive:
1. Boot into your Puppy on the CD.
2. At the bottom of your display, just above the Task-bar are short-cut icons to your drives and DVD. Left-Click the icon for the hard-drive partition on which you want to deploy your Puppy. Right-Click an empty space on that partition. Select New>Directory from the pop-up window and give the folder a meaningful --recommended short-- name such as Voidpup64.
3. Left-Click that folder to open it: it's currently empty. Leave it open.
4. Left-Click the short-cut icon to your DVD.
5. Left-Press, hold, then drag each of Puppy's system files (shown in the following graphic) from the DVD window into the 'Voidpup64" folder window. Select copy.
Method 1 Using grub2config: Run Menu>Setup>Grub2Config bootloader config. This will search all your partitions and should write a new boot-manager on sda with listings of all the operating systems on your computer, including your Puppy and your other Linux. But sometimes you'll get a message that there's been a failure to write a necessary file. That's because some Linuxes have modified sda, I don't know anyway around that. Ergo, method 2.
Method 2:
Open a terminal and run the command "blkid" --without the quotes. This will provide a print-out of the UUID's for all your devices, such as the following:
/dev/sda3: UUID="39ff128d-806e-45a0-9c0c-40138....(numbers deleted)..." BLOCK_SIZE="4096" TYPE="ext3" PARTUUID="b5586c87-03"
Copy that information where your other Linux can find it.
Boot into your other Linux and follow its advice as to how to customize its Grub2 boot manager. Grub2 is Grub2 regardless of which Linux creates it and uses it. This is an example of a Grub2 Stanza:

In scouting for a new puppy for an intel n97 cube, i see a new 120124 version... and a k6.6.63 kernel? I'll wait for testing/eval. looks new enuff.
Would help if you share the specifications of the device to receive suggestions.

Is your new OS installed on a USB flash drive, Micro-SD or external USB HDD?
Finally, is VA-API enabled for your onboard Intel graphics?
I did alot of reading about modern kernels. The kernel supplied has to be 2023 at least, because of the n97 release date. The n97 differs from other Alder Lake CPU's because ONLY E cores are used... thus no microcode update for P/E core different CPU ID's. Next is the aufs snafu, and 6.6.53 preceeds that, and is new enough for the Alder Lake N series (notably N95 N97 N100). Thats why Void 100924 selected. It took several threads here to put this together, along with Intel and Wiki, among others.
Th GMK G5 is ordered and i have usb3.0 uSDHC 32 Gb chips at hand. A 4Gb part for OS and balance storage should sufice,
Aliexpress has mine (12Gb NO ssd NO OS) for US$125 + tax. IMHO this setup perfect for Puppy. The Opi5b I have works well, but there are no apps that allow altering defaults without major hoop jumps. As good as it PERFORMS, its not nearly Puppy's open (root) structure.
***UPDATE*** k6.6.x is LT and new in 2023 3rd Qtr.

RE: AV-API... Intel QuickSync = yes bios may detail further, and/or void pup. mpv 'should' be ok., VLC looks better. using a FF browser ensures on-line use.
Also of note is that 6.11 and 6.12 kernels REQUIRE same kernel apps, loading older versions verboten!

I looked at the changelog for the 6.6.53 kernel and the only references I saw where in relation to Intel Wifi.
Is this what you are referring to?
In regards to the graphics drivers, I am using an older build of VoidPup and had to install/update Mesa in order to retrieve information using glxinfo. It refused to run previously.
So, are you planning on using Intel Arc drivers?
No problems with setup or ops yet. Boot had 2 snafu's

vpm used, and installed mpv. working well b/4 shutdown.
Kernel modules trimmed for my computer (Alder Lake 'N' series). With FF128.5.1esr, Light removed (adrv too), & mpv installed, the iso size is ~530Mb.
Power button --> desktop less than 45 seconds. 
Again, the only nitpik is that using boot-flash, the boot folder & grub cfg MUST be copied from CD/DVD.
