At the upper right side of any page you have open on this forum, you'll notice a link that says "Notifications"...click on that, then look at the right side of the little drop down and you'll see a link to "Settings" and from there you can choose how and when you would like to be notified of something!"

Just noticed that:
I named my bootable Slacko CD-RW = slacko-5.7.0-pae-ataflash.iso
There is a save file on an internal partition.
I guess the ataflash indicates that the iso file has been customized to make the Slacko run in pupmode=13.
I think this would be done so that a SAVE/NOSAVE dialogue is offered during shutdown/reboot.
The default is NOSAVE.
I don't remember how [and by whom] the iso file was customized.
It was done many years ago when I was on the old Puppy Forum.
